CREO DuPage (aka CREO) is a nonprofit pre-college program focused on helping motivated Hispanic/Latino/Latinx students attain the future they yearn for – making possible what may seem impossible. We want to break away from misconceptions by changing the college narrative in the community and enabling our students to successfully prepare for and complete their studies.

We partner with parents/guardians to help CREO students acquire self-awareness, college-knowledge, and strengthen their academic skills. Our services help solidify academic or personal development areas students may need in order to explore, prepare for and be admitted into college.

Our focus for the 2021-2022 school is to provide high school students and their parents with academic coaching, individualized advising and monthly college-related workshops. Our student workshops are enrichment and mentoring group sessions where they grow their skills and learn from each other. Our parent workshops provide a space for parents to learn practical ways to support their students’ journey to college. We have big dreams for the program and are excited for our second year to start!

Creosote Posts

Family Office Focused: CREO is focused on serving aligned family office and private capital providers in a comfortable, secure, structured and low-cost professional environment. Most members are from families or institutions with strong investment commitments to CREO markets and many have philanthropic and innovative finance portfolios.

High Quality Content: Via selective partnerships and guest participation, CREO curates highly substantive content that spans companies and fund investing, public and private markets, mission and return goals, and asset classes and investment structures.

Non-Commercial: CREO is operated on an informal no-profit basis and neither the Conveners nor their companies seek any form of transaction or advisory fees for commercial transactions initiated or consummated via the CREO meetings or the CREO Syndicate itself.

Creon

Broad Participation: CREO is a carefully selected but heterogeneous network. It is designed with an open-architecture structure, as opposed to a closed private club, which lends a richness to the family office participant experience.
